Mohamad Omar Hemidi (Arabic: محمد عمر حميدي) (born 1 May 1986 in Aleppo, Syria) is a Syrian footballer. He currently plays for Al-Ittihad, which competes in the Syrian Premier League the top division in Syria. He plays as a defender, wearing the number 5 jersey for Al-Ittihad.[1]
International career
Hemidi has been a regular for the Syria national football team since 2007. He made 9 appearances for Syria during the qualifying rounds of the 2010 FIFA World Cup.[2]
